Before the truck, before the catering kitchen, Tanya was cooking from home — family recipes, a deep fryer, and food made the way her family taught her. A stranger ordered a plate, came back the next day for two more, and word started to spread.
Those plates turned into catering orders, and the catering orders turned into the food truck at 2301 San Pedro. Today Tanya Manuel and Xezavier Westbrook — owners and chefs — serve hundreds of people, still family-driven, still cooking like it's their own table.
Until now, the menu lived behind clicks, the hours lived on Google, and catering lived on a form most visitors never found — while 118K people followed the food on Instagram.
